We're back from vacation, and it's so good to be home. I missed Nate something fierce, and so wearing his shirt today seemed somewhat appropriate.
The problem is figuring out how to wear it. When I put it on this way, I was kind of proud of myself for pattern mixing, and trying something new:
Shirt: Nate's, Blazer: Thrifted (30 cents!), Jeans: Lucky, via Plato's Closet, Shoes: Fake Toms, Sole Envy, Belt: Also Nate's (with a few extra holes punched in)
This was my face (and no, I didn't really like it, we actually had a really good laugh about it all).
When I went with tucking it in. I got the comment that I looked like a lumberjack. So I took Nate's Velashka (an ax carried by Slovakia's equivalent of Robin Hood) off the wall and we made a go of it.
Lumberjacks are super manly...right?
Yeah...he's right.

Guess I should have gone with the shirt and tie....
I actually like it with the blazer...
ReplyDeleteThe shirt and tie is really cute, though. Yay for being home! Say hi to Nate for us.
YOU may not like the shirt with the blazer but I think it's amazing. One of my favorites from today for sure.

My husband loves his ties too! I don't think I could borrow his ties. Too pricy too!
ReplyDeleteI was definitely uncertain when I put it on, and it's possible that the huge laugh I got when I came out of our room may have colored my feelings for it. Perhaps I'll have to try something along the lines again...
