Graduation

Graduation was pretty cool. Commencement was great, and the Elder Bednar's speech was really great. While convocation was a little bit long, it felt pretty good sitting around and hearing all kinds of congratulations, as well as being with classmates who've traveled through the same journey there. While I'm not sure what's next, I feel pretty hopeful about the future.

While I'm not always sure that I really know a lot more than when I started college, I definitely feel like I've grown up since I graduated from high school, and that I've come a long way.

For example:
I can now write a 5-7 page paper without breaking a sweat. Sweat doesn't come until the paper reaches about 15 pages.

I can also teach a 45 minute to an hour and a half lesson to a group of 8th graders, and feel like students have actually learned something...I think.

I'm married, to my most favorite person ever. He helps me constantly learn new things each day. This has to be the best thing that I've gotten out of college. Now, not only can I "go forth to serve" and continue to learn, I've got someone to make the journey with. Thanks for being my one and only darlin' (cue sappy "awwww" now).

One more week, and we're taking our stuff to Tremonton. High-ho Mazda, away!
