I just took the American accent test on Facebook, and it told me that I have a Northern Accent, specifically New York, New England, and the Great Lakes area.

How did this happen? Out of all the regions in the United States, that's just about the only area I haven't lived. I have, however, always had a strange desire to live in Maine...maybe that's why I talk as I do.

In other news, this Thursday and Friday is UEA here...bless it. Getting to sleep in this morning was just what the doctor ordered. It's also fall, and beautiful. Hope you're enjoying things wherever you are.

  1. That is strange, about the accent test. I took it too and it said I just had a general American accent, not associated with any specific area.

  2. Oh, I wish we had UEA. Alas, no.
