Repair Something

So, funny story. I recently went through and repaired just about everything in my repair bag, so I was running kind of low today. I decided to run over to the thrift store and see if I could find something in the 30 cent racks to repair. I found a pair of white pants, and a yellow shirt. I spent my 67 cents (with tax), and took them home to try it on.

Well, wouldn't you know that the one time I want to have to fix something, the pants and the shirt fit me pretty much perfectly.

So I was stuck finishing a project that I started last spring. After seeing Liz's Trench Coat Refashion I decided that I should do the same. I hemmed it months ago, bit it still needed a few bits of tucking and tailoring to take it from creepy coat, to awesome.

Also, are there any limits on wearing white pants after Labor Day anymore? I kind of hope not...

  1. According to What not to wear there is no time limit for wearing white pants. You are amazing! You have made so many cute things! I need to pull out my sewing machine and find some fun projects.
